| Sugar Daddy |

Hi Jojo,
Thanks for the review. I haven't seen this movie (as usual). I like the screen caps. Alma looks great as usual.

Hello Ron,
I know that you haven't seen most of the movies I post here in my blog but I'm glad that you've learned to appreciate these films. Sugar Daddy was Alma's very first Regal film after she was launched into full stardom with Mrs. Eva Fonda 16 and Ligaw Na Bulaklak in 1976...

Hi Jojo!
I haven't seen this film either. It's surprising to see at least for me Cherie Gil in a '70s movie along with Alma Moreno. Yes, Alma has a very refreshing look in the screencaps. Is this Cherie Gil's first Regal movie?
I thought Mrs Eva Fonda 16 was Alma's very first Regal movie!

Hello Dennis,
Sugar Daddy was Cherie Gil's follow-up movie after Beerhouse, also directed by Elwood Perez. Alma was truly beautiful when she first started although I read that she was nightmare to work with. Eva Fonda was produced by Sampaguita Pictures, not Regal.

I saw Cherie Gil pala in Beerhouse via C1. She was the daughter of Charito Solis in the last part. Trilogy pala ang movie. I thought back then her very first picture was Problem Child!
Eva Fonda naman felt like it was produced by Regal back then.

That's right Dennis... Cherie was in the last episode of the Elwood Perez directed omnibus film. She also had a guest appearance in Ishmael Bernal's Salawahan before she was launched into full stardom with Problem Child.

Yes, I remember her in Salawahan! Great appearance by the way hehe...
12:12 AM
11:27 AM
Tama ka Jojo!
12:46 PM
Di nga ba?

Yes!

Maraming salamat Dennis!
