Vic Silayan's performance in Kisapmata is one of the best I've seen in Philippine cinema. Dolphy's acting in Ang Tatay Kong...is proof that there's more to this Pinoy icon than Facifica Falayfay and John Puruntong.
P.S. I really love your blog. I was born in 1977 so I guess I missed out on the last golden age of Philippine cinema. Could you also include your reviews/features of TV shows during the 70s and 80s? (John & Marsha, Champoy, Discorama etc.) Thank you very much.

thanks a lot! i do agree that Vic Silayan's performance in Kisapmata is probably his greatest. who can forget Dolphy in Ang Tatay Kong Nanay? it's still one of those screaming queens similar to Facifica Falayfay but Lino Brocka made his character more humane.
